An interactive prototype to reduce food waste in Coop supermarkekts.

In 2021 following the successful launch of Coop Scan & Pay, we teamed up with Coop and Apple for a tailored design sprint. The opportunity; reduce food waste by increasing knowledge and empowering Coop employees with the digital tools to drive change.

We spent three days in a hybrid workshop together with Coop supermarket staff and learned their challenges in keeping fruit and vegetables fresh in store. Together we brainstormed ideas, interviewed experts and sketched solutions.

Our small team spent less than a week designing an interactive prototype based on user insights, quick flows and their colourful brand.
